Ultimate Flyby Orchestra
The UFO are based in Nottingham, they are a 50-piece orchestra dedicated to breaking down barriers between musical styles and providing a high quality performance. They have an exciting set of repertoire live music from Daft Punk, Hans Zimmer, Duke Ellington, Rossini and more!
Romantic Revival Orchestra
Wiktor Wysocki is a Composition student at the Royal Conservatoire, he is collecting this ensemble of young musicians to work on and perform his works, as a whole ensemble, smaller chamber groups and duets. Samantha plays bass clarinet and soprano saxophone with the ensemble.
Robyn Hood Youth Orchestra
RHYO are the top ensemble at the Nottingham Music Hub's saturday music school. Samantha was in the music hub ensembles for 10 years - from 2010-2020 - working her way up to princaple Alto Saxophone and section leader.
With the Orchestra she went several times to Karlsruhe, and the Lake District, and played at Lightnights, Hockley Hustle, the Great Orchestra experiment and Christmas in the City in Nottingham
Jazz Squad
Samantha was a part of the Jazz band affiliated with RHYO for several years before becoming its leader. In this role she conducted and lead rehearsals, organised gigs and arranged pieces for the band. Taking the band to Peggys Skylight and the Mayor of Nottinghams carol concert.
RAF voluntary band - Waddington
This is a wind band made up of volunteer musicians, the band plays at parades, concerts, and Officer dinner nights. Samantha played clarinet in the band from 2018-2020, playing in the Birmingham Symphony Hall, the Guards Chapel, and many RAF bases around the country.
